You can also install PowerShell Core on Windows machines that are Windows 7 or later, but you can also use PowerShell Core in docker containers. Since the software is open source, you can simply download PowerShell Core via GitHub. So with PowerShell, you can control the various operating systems and server applications very comprehensively on the network. With PowerShell Core, Microsoft now offers an open source version of PowerShell that can be installed on Linux and MacOS.
